I had a wonderful day today - stitching. I have committed to one day a month as one of the Pink Ladies at the Patchwork Apple in Woodside. Really important that I do this as I seem to be in a world of chaos most of the time. Jane who owns the Patchwork Apple is just gorgeous and I really love her dry sense of humour.
Yesterday was definitely a day of Mad Cow Disease! We run a small herd of very docile Poll Shorthorn cattle on our property and our bull decided that he had a definitley made a connection with one of the new neighbours girls. She was teasing him and eventually Baron couldn't resist and hauled his 800kg frame over the fence. He was very pleased with himself but not happy when i turned up in the 4wd to turf him out of the paddock and into solitary in the yards. Calves decide to be difficult and slip through the cracks of a gate and in with the horses - then they couldn't work out how to get out, tangling in fences etc very messy.
